MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – Nadezhda Skardino of Belarus with her clean-shooting seventh place in the women’s 15K individual at BMW IBU World Cup 5 in Ruhpolding won the first crystal globe of her career, BelTA has learned.
Nadezhda Skardino scored 60 points for her first place in the women’s 15K individual in Ostersund, Sweden. The seventh place in Ruhpolding brought her another 36 points. It was in the women’s individual where the Belarusian clinched bronze at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.
As for the BMW IBU World Cup standings, Nadezhda Skardino is 19th with 225 points after 11 events. Darya Domracheva goes 13th with 247 points, Irina Krivko – 17th with 239 points. The Women's World Cup Total Score is topped by Anastasiya Kuzmina with 454 points. Second is Kaisa Makarainen with 429 points, third is Dorothea Wierer with 378 points.
