BAKU, 16 May (BelTA) - There are no closed topics in the relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan; the two countries have the same world view and understand where it is moving, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on 16 May, BelTA has learned.
“We have no closed topics, everything is open in our relations. If someone heard what issues we discussed, they would wonder what relations we had? We enjoy the best, closest relations. We communicate like brothers, we have the same world view and understand where it is moving. I told you one-on-one today about Heydar [former President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev's father Heydar Aliyev]: if he had seen how Azerbaijan was developing today...” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
