TBILISI, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Georgia on a three-day official visit, BelTA has learned.
On 23 April the Belarusian President is scheduled to hold talks with Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, sign a number of bilateral documents and attend other events.
TBILISI, 22 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Unknown Soldier’s Grave in Tbilisi while on a state visit to Georgia, BelTA has learned.
The memorial is located in Vake Park in honor of the soldiers, who died during the Great Patriotic War. An eternal flame burns as part of the monument. The group of sculptures includes a monument to the fallen soldier (Shiva) and the rising figure of the goddess Kali Ma (black mother). The combination can be seen in other Georgian memorials, too.
