MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) - Yauheni Karaliok of Belarus won the men’s 15km scratch at the 2017-18 Tissot UCI Track World Cup in Minsk, Belarus on 21 January, BelTA has learned.

Portugal’s Ivo Oliveira finished second with Ukrainian Vitaliy Hryniv taking bronze. Yauheni Karaliok’s gold was the only medal won by Belarus at the UCI Track World Cup in Minsk.

Seventeen medal events were held at Minsk Arena as part of the 2017-18 Tissot UCI Track World Cup. About 300 athletes took part in the competitions hosted by the Belarusian capital.
