2023 CIS Games: Belarus’ Ilya Gushcha victorious in javelin throw

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – Ilya Gushcha of Belarus dominated with 56.49m attempt to clinch gold in the javelin throw event of the 2^nd CIS Games in Belarus, BelTA has learned.

Avazbek Khudaiberdiev from Uzbekistan threw 51.62m to place second. Bronze went to Belarus’ Aleksei Ponomarev with his best attempt of 50.81m.
