Project goals: to help women and children affected by domestic violence, promote the idea of gender equality, eliminate gender stereotypes, fight against violence against women and children in the family, reduce tolerance to violence.
Project tasks:
- to acquire and equip a SOS-apartment to provide temporary shelter for domestic violence victims;
- to provide rehabilitation to violence victims;
- to train female victims of violence in needlework to improve their financial well-being;
- to organize the operation of “dad schools” as part of fatherhood programs.
Target group: families with children, victims of domestic violence and aggressors.
Brief description:
Purchasing an apartment and converting it into a SOS-apartment.
Providing necessary infrastructure base for the operation of the apartment in order to organize comprehensive assistance to victims of violence: asylum, psychological, legal, mediation, counseling assistance.
Opening a dark sensory room to relieve excessive psycho-emotional stress of mothers (women), mothers and children in crisis, preparing them for further work on themselves and to overcome the crisis.
Launching needlework training courses and/or workshops for mothers (women) to help them self-express, improve self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as to acquire the possibility of additional or even basic earnings, increase financial independence.
Opening and providing the material and technical base for the operation of a dad-school, which aims to optimize the role of the father in upbringing children, contribute to a positive and responsible fatherhood
