Humanitarian project of Minsk Oblast Secondary School / Olympic Reserve Center

Project name: Give everybody a chance to be a champion

Implementation period: 3 years

Applicant: Minsk Oblast Secondary School / Olympic Reserve Center

Project goals: To give every child regardless of their social status and place of residence an opportunity to fulfill their potential through sport

Project tasks:

1. Find gifted children with outstanding physique.
2. Help socialize children left without parental care and children from the countryside through sport and Olympic movement.
3. Track children’s psychological and physiological progress through computer program NS-PsychoTest.
4. Perform multifunctional rapid testing of athletes using the D-test 3 monitoring process.

Target group: Children left without parental care and children from the countryside of Minsk Oblast

Brief description:

1. Purchase the system of multifunctional rapid testing of athletes based on the D-test 3 monitoring process.
2. Purchase the computer program NS-PsychoTest to track children’s psychological and physiological progress.
3. Continue renovation of the canteen to make it meet all the requirements of the Education Ministry and food safety watchdogs. The architectural design and expert opinion on the project are available.
4. Purchase transport to transfer project participants.
5. Create conditions to conduct comprehensive diagnostics of children’s physical fitness and psychological state.

Results of the projects:

1. Identify gifted countryside children from Minsk Oblast and invite them to study in the Olympic Reserve Center in order to enable them to fulfill their potential through elite sport.
2. Examine children’s personality, possible mental disorders, explore their character and assess mental stability, their interaction with other individuals and groups using the computer program NS-PsychoTest. This solution will help ascertain whether children have the necessary psychological and physiological abilities to become professional athletes.
3. Determine the level of general and specific working ability of every child, his/her predisposition to a specific sport using the D-test 3 monitoring process.
