MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) - Belarusian doctors have treated almost 3,000 patients in Syria, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
A special medical unit from Belarus continues working in Syria’s Aleppo. Since the deployment Belarusian doctors have provided qualified medical care to almost 3,000 patients.
According to doctors, many patients have advanced forms of chronic diseases. For a long time people have had no opportunity to undergo an examination and receive timely medical care. Syrians also turn to doctors with the injuries they received during the armed conflict.
