MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) - Children from Syria will come to Belarus on health recuperation holidays in May-June this year, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Syria Yuri Sluka said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
Belarus has sent another humanitarian cargo to Syria. In addition to food and medicines, Belarus provided Syria with special-purpose vehicles to help the country with post-war recovery. An agreement was also reached on health recuperation holidays for Syrian children in Belarus. “We continue to cooperate actively with Syrian partners, to support Syrian children. This year we are set to host 500 kids from Syria in May-June,” Yuri Sluka noted.
