MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) - A rehabilitation center for Donbass children will be built near Borisov, public figure, Paralympian, motivational speaker and founder of the charitable foundation Aleksei Talai told the media as he saw off another group of children from Donbass who holidayed in Belarus, BelTA has learned.

"It is a great pride for me to be involved in these good deeds and events.  I thank everyone. With the support of our president, we will continue these initiatives. We have also embarked on a major project to build a rehabilitation center for Donbass children near Borisov in a very iconic place – the estate of the Grand Dukes of the Romanov House. This estate was given to us by anonymous donors. We have decided to turn it into the children's rehabilitation center there, to fit it out with the most advanced, world-class technologies, including domestic ones. Our specialists are working on this within the framework of the Union State. Belarusian children will also undergo treatment there, make new friends and overcome difficulties together. The center’s motto will be ‘anything is possible when we believe in ourselves’," Aleksei Talai said.

Negotiations are already underway with possible participants in the project. Ordinary citizens will also be able to contribute. "Russian regions will also be actively involved. Every region will be able to take part in the project, restore some part of the estate and get its own plaque. Thereby a region and republic will be remembered for many years ahead for good deeds in Belarus, the Union State. This project will take several years, as the estate is large. We will need to build additional buildings for rehabilitation, for the administration of this complex. Today we are conducting comprehensive preparatory work. Specialists are working on design," the founder of the charitable foundation said.

Today, another group of children from Donbass, who came to Belarus for health improvement and medical rehabilitation, was seen off at the railway station. "We hosted 40 children from Donbass. They had a good rest and recharge. This is the second autumn group, and we really hope that there will be a third one. As always, we will try to organize everything as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that another region of Belarus hosts children. Perhaps it will be Mogilev Oblast or Grodno Oblast. Children are welcome there and will be given even an opportunity to explore a region, to see all the sights and enjoy the kindness and love of the Belarusian people. I thank the leadership of Brest Oblast for organizing great holidays for the children this time," Aleksei Talai emphasized.
