150 Chinese children to come to Belarus for recuperation

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – Some 150 children from China have been invited to Belarus for recuperation and treatment at the Zubrenok education and recuperation center, BelTA learned from the center.

“In line with the project “Belarus-China: Coming Closer”, 150 children from the People’s Republic of China will restore health at the Zubrenok education and recuperation center on 12-17 August. The first time children from China visited Zubrenok upon the invitation of the Belarusian president was in 2015,” the center informed.

Following doctors’ recommendations the children will be offered a diverse recuperation program including oxygen cocktails, coniferous and pearl baths, aromatherapy, aeroionotherapy and massage, the center informed. Apart from that, children will be able to do hiking and sunbathing.

The children will also be offered a number of entertainment activities, like master classes in traditional souvenir making, an art festival, quizzes, an evening of Belarus-China friendship, and other events. The Chinese children will take part in the Peer Learning project to introduce Belarusian children to the Chinese culture. Active leisure opportunities will include swimming, sauna, team sports, boating, water rides, skating and roller skating, biking, hoverboarding, and joint sports activities and competitions with Belarusian children.

The children will be taken on excursion to Minsk and will visit the Mir Castle, the Nesvizh Castle, Lake Naroch area, and the Nesluch Homestead Local Lore Museum.

Since 2015 the Zubrenok education and recuperation center has been running Chinese language courses every summer.
