MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – The presidential election campaign in Belarus should be held in compliance with the law. The MPs should, in turn, do everything necessary for this, Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko said at the session of the lower house of the Belarusian Parliament, BelTA has learned.
The speaker stressed that it was the House of Representatives that called the presidential election. “We have to do everything we can to make sure it is held in compliance with the law," he said. Vladimir Andreichenko called on the MPs to meet with people more often, to explain what is happening in the country.
“The situation cannot be viewed in simple terms. All these actions have customers and executors. There are banks that pump money to support the negative developments in Belarus today," the speaker said.
“Not everyone likes the policy pursued in Belarus by the president. You know who does not like it," he added.
