MOSCOW, 29 September (BelTA) – Head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia Vladimir Churov expects good organization of the presidential election in Belarus. Vladimir Churov made the statement as he talked to BelTA.
“As always I expect a good organizational level and, of course, a high turnout,” the head of the Russian CEC said.
He said he would take part in the observation of the president election in Belarus on the invitation of the country’s Central Election Commission. This time he will come to Belarus ahead of the voting day. According to Vladimir Churov, he is going to visit polling stations in Oshmyany, Smorgon, Myadel, Molodechno, Minsk and, perhaps, Bobruisk. “I will get familiar with the work of territorial commissions in these cities,” said Vladimir Churov.
“I think the trip will be interesting,” the head of the Russian CEC added.
