MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – Czech President Milos Zeman praised Belarus’ efforts towards Ukraine settlement and gave a positive assessment of the recent electoral campaign in Belarus as he accepted the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Czech Republic Valery Kurdyukov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Milos Zeman expressed satisfaction with the rapidly developing Belarusian-Czech cooperation. He emphasized that Czech businessmen are interested in mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarus.
For his part, Valery Kurdyukov emphasized the importance of bolstering all-round cooperation between Belarus and Czechia with a focus on economic ties. He believes that the bilateral trade can be boosted through implementation of joint investment projects and establishment of joint enterprises on the territory of Belarus.
