VITEBSK, 18 May (BelTA) – In the run-up to the 5th Belarusian People’s Congress people review the results of their work to be more engaged in the economic development of the country in the future, Alexander Voitenkov, a delegate of the 5th Belarusian People’s Congress, director of the Display design bureau, said in an interview with BelTA.
He will take part in such an important event as the Belarusian People’s Congress for the second time. “This is a responsible mission for me. I feel that I am part of the nation. My life motto is as follows: “All enterprises and their managers are responsible for the economic development of the country.” Taxes in Belarus are lower than in Europe. We live in the market economy. We just need to work hard. If every enterprise understands it, the country will be prosperous and rich. We are making our future. We rely on university graduates. Every worker, every engineer is involved in this process,” Alexander Voitenkov said.
In his opinion, manufacturing more high-tech products should be one of the economic priorities in 2016-2020. “I think that we need to consolidate the society, all population strata and accumulate the intellect and high economic efficiency. It is also important to retain the multi-vector character of the state policy,” Alexander Voitenkov stressed.
Speaking about the Display design bureau, Alexander Voitenkov said that the enterprise is doing its best to expand markets, but its major partner is Russia.
Alexander Voitenkov will be one of 109 delegates of Vitebsk at the 5th Belarusian People’s Congress.
