MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – The White Cranes play has premiered at the Belarusian State Academic Music Theater in Minsk. The play staged by Serbian singer, actress and producer Ivana Zigon marks the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, BelTA has learned.
The play raises a common theme of the Second World War for Belarus and Serbia. The audience is shown a documentary military chronicle, national costumes and the story of those days saturated with Serbian colors.
Partaking in the play are 150 people. Apart from 30 actors from Serbia the play features 120 students of the choreography department of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Art and the military department of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. Ivana Zigon performs one of the main roles. According to the actress, Belarus has preserved the memory about the victims of the Great Patriotic War best of all and it is an honor for her to present the play in Minsk.
