MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Over 55 foreign reporters have been accredited to cover the 26th annual session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), which will take place in Minsk on 5-9 July, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The reporters have been sent to Belarus by news agencies, television channels, and printed media from a number of OSCE member states, including Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, the USA, the UK, and France.
BelTA reported earlier that the session will focus on building up mutual trust and cooperation in the name of peace and prosperity in the OSCE region. The session will end with the adoption of the Minsk declaration. The document will include recommendations for national governments, parliaments and the international community in the area of security, economy, and environment.
