Minsk to unveil European Games mascot on 29 November

MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) - Presentation of the 2nd European Games 2019 mascot will take place in Minsk on 29 November, Anatoly Kotov, Deputy CEO of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019, said at a press conference in BelTA’s press center on 6 November.

“We are planning to use one of the halls of the European Games partners. Next week we will inspect the venue jointly with one of the TV companies to understand the possibilities for TV broadcast,” he said. The presentation of the mascot II European Games will be a colorful show, the organizers promise.

The mascots of the 1st European Games in Baku were Jeyran the Gazelle and Nar the Pomegranate.

Belarus got the right to host the 2nd European Games at the 45th EOC General Assembly which took place in Minsk on 21 October 2016. Competitions of the 2nd European Games will be held at the largest sports facilities in Minsk, including Dinamo Stadium Dinamo, Minsk Arena, Chizhovka Arena.
