MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) - Georgia President Salome Zourabichvili will visit Belarus for the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games in Minsk on 21 June, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Belarus Valeri Kvaratskhelia said at a press conference dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia, BelTA has learned.
The diplomat said that the European Games are important for Georgia and will feature a lot of famous Georgian athletes.
When in Minsk the Georgian president will likely hold meetings and talks to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, the ambassador said.
