Second European Games in Belarus

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – The 2018 ECA Canoe Sprint European Championships due in Belgrade on 8-10 June will be a qualification event for the 2019 European Games in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the European Canoe Association.

Team Belarus picked up four silver and two bronze medals at the 2017 European Canoe Sprint Championships. Belarusian athletes traditionally take part in all major international competitions and rank among the top teams.

Kayak and canoe events will take place at a rowing canal in Zaslavl during the 2019 European Games to become the only competitions held outside Minsk.
