MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Belarus added four medals, including one gold, to its medal haul on completion day four of the 2nd European Games 2019, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian judoka Maryna Slutskaya secured a champion title in the Women’s Heavyweight +78kg. Hanna Hancharova clinched the Women’s Individual bronze in trampoline gymnastics. She was also third in the event at the 2015 European Games in Baku. Belarus also claimed bronze medals in the women’s and men’s 3x3 basketball tournaments.
Belarus goes second in the medal table with 38 (11 gold, nine silver, 18 bronze) medals. Russia tops the overall standings with the total of 48 (22, 12, 14) medals. Georgia is third with 20 (6, 5, 9) medals. Athletes of 35 teams have graced the podium of the 2nd European Games so far.
