MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – More than 2,400 foreign nationals of the 2nd European games arrived in Belarus as of 19 June, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
“As of today the border service has cleared more than 870 fans as part of the visa-free entry for Minsk 2019 ticketholders. Most guests are citizens of Poland (over 240 people), Latvia (over 120) and Lithuania (99). More than 1,500 accredited participants of the games have crossed the Belarusian border. Of them more than 850 people came in the last 24 hours. Most are representatives of the UK, more than 150 people,” The State Border Committee said.
Participants and fans of the games are entitled to priority customs clearance via special corridors designated with the games logo.
Minsk 2019 is the second European Games and will feature approximately 4,000 of the continent’s best athletes from 50 nations competing in 200 medal events across 15 sports. Tickets for the European Games are available at www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by, in the box offices of the official ticket operator Ticketpro and also in more than 300 points of sale across the country.
