Second European Games in Belarus

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus held a meeting on 12 October to discuss issues related to the development of an IT block at the Second European Games that are due to take place in Minsk in 2019, BelTA has learned.

In line with the government’s instruction, a subcommittee on information technology has been set up at the Ministry of Communication and Informatization. The IT block is a comprehensive technical solution envisaged for the organization of the European Games. At the meeting representatives of ATOS company shared the experience of implementing software and technical solutions at big sport events. Specialists presented solutions in the organization and providing services at sport events, including an integrated system of solutions for accreditation, management of multi-sport events, sport facilities, registration and distribution of sport results, transport and logistics, volunteering.

Over the past 25 years ATOS has been a partner of the International Olympic Committee in the organization of big sport events.
