MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Visa-free entry for the participants and personnel engaged in the organization of the 2nd CIS Games will be valid from 3 July, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
According to the State Border Committee, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree on preparing and hosting the 2nd CIS Games in 2023 on 13 May. The competitions will feature 20 sports and will be held in 11 Belarusian cities on 5-13 August. Visa-free entry to Belarus will be valid for the Games participants and personnel from 3 July to 31 August.
The border agency stressed that the basis for visa-free entry to the country will be the inclusion of athletes and other participants in the list of the 2nd CIS Games accredited system.
