Pirshtuk to head Belarus’ delegation at OSCE PA Winter Meeting in Vienna
MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Boleslav Pirshtuk will head the Belarusian delegation at the Winter Meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), BelTA learned from the website of the House of Representatives.
The OSCE PA Winter Meetings will take place in Vienna, Austria on 23-24 February. MPs of the OSCE member states are expected to discuss politics, security, economy, environment and human rights issues.
As BelTA informed earlier, the OSCE PA Summer Meeting will be held in Minsk on 5-9 July to discuss the ways of strengthening mutual trust and cooperation for the sake of peace and wellbeing in the OSCE zone. Nearly 700 guests are expected to attend the 26th annual session.
