MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Government officials, who make promises but do nothing, will be replaced. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he met with representatives of the general public, Belarusian and foreign mass media on 3 February, BelTA has learned.
The head of state explained: “As part of our personnel policy we will calmly replace people, who make promises but do nothing and even contemplate not fulfilling the president’s instructions.”In his words, the process has already begun. You can see that new people appear one by one, gradually, without fuss. Those, who have failed to do their job, are quitting. We are also firing the people with no prospects,” said the head of state.
The President noted that a government conference will be held soon to sum up last year’s performance. “We are going to discuss what we do and whether all the promises I gave prior to the election are being fulfilled,” said Alexander Lukashenko.
