MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is expected to visit Kyrgyzstan on 13-14 April, the press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA.
Alexander Lukashenko will take part in a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek on 14 April. The heads of state intend to discuss the implementation of the main directions of international activities of the Eurasian Economic Union. The main guidelines for the macroeconomic policy of the Eurasian Economic Union member states for the next few years will be discussed as well. Close attention will be paid to economic cooperation with third countries.
A number of international documents are supposed to be signed as a result of the session.
The same day Alexander Lukashenko is expected to attend an informal meeting of the heads of state of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states. The presidents will talk about the state of security affairs, topical challenges and threats, and ways of dealing with them together.
