MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – A Belarusian peacekeeping military unit is undergoing training under the supervision of UK military personnel, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The training of the peacekeeping unit of the 103rd Guards Airborne Brigade is taking place in Losvidovo training area from 5 to 14 February. “The training is taking place in woodlands and in cold weather conditions. Representatives of the 2nd Royal Irish Regiment of the 160th Infantry Brigade of the UK armed forces are supervising the training in line with the 2018 Belarus-UK military cooperation plan,” the ministry said.
