MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – The ministers of foreign affairs of Belarus and South Korea have exchanged greetings on the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Korea, met with Lee Jeong-Kyu, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of South Korea, on 9 February. The Belarusian diplomat passed on to the Korean side an official letter of greetings from Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea marked on 10 February 2017.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of the Belarusian-Korean relations and organization of joint events in the political, trade and economic areas.
