MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to consider visa facilitation with the USA on a mutual basis, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told reporters during the international conference Economic Security in a Globalized World of the Minsk Dialogue expert initiative on 2 June, BelTA has learned.

“We are ready to consider any proposals, if there are any, on a mutual basis,” Vladimir Makei said.

In his words, the talks on the liberalization of visa regulations between Belarus and the European Union continue. “We are working on corresponding agreements in a calm manner. It will take some time to solve technical issues on the agenda,” the diplomat said. “I would not make a big deal out of it or would not set concrete terms regarding visa facilitation. We are working on it.”
