BORISOV DISTRICT, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko attends the Zapad 2017 army exercise. The helicopter of the head of state landed at the 227th combined arms exercise area (Borisovsky), BelTA has learned.
It is planned that the president will be briefed on the military and political situation in the European region and its influence on ensuring military security in the Union State, the deployment of the army, including the interaction with the group of forces in the northwestern operational direction.
Alexander Lukashenko will observe the army exercise. He will also review the troops partaking in the exercise and present medals to soldiers.
