MOSCOW, 7 December (BelTA) – Ways to intensify the Belarusian-Polish cooperation in the political, trade and economic areas were discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Russia Wlodzimierz Marciniak in Moscow on 7 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“The parties discussed the development of the Belarusian-Polish relations, including the intensification of cooperation in the political, trade and economic areas,” the press service noted.
Belarus and Poland established diplomatic relations on 2 March 1992. In 2015 the trade between Belarus and Poland totaled $1.849 billion.
