MINSK, 29 February (BelTA) – An interagency working group has been set up in Belarus to consider the investment projects suggested by ZТЕ Corporation. Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov signed a relevant executive order No.73p on 29 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The working group will consider the possibility of company’s participation in the project to build a silicon valley in Vitebsk. Besides, ZТЕ Corporation is eager to act as a general contractor in the investment project E-School. The working group will also discuss the investment project to set up a plant to manufacture equipment for the E-School.
The group will decide if the Vitebsk silicon valley can be the general contractor in the E-School project.
Besides, the working group will consider possible mechanisms for funding these projects, including with the help of Chinese loans.
Public officers and government-employed specialists will be invited to work with the group if necessary.
The group will be headed by Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Yaroshenko. The results of its work will be presented to the Belarusian government before 1 June 2016.
The execution of the order will be coordinated by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin.
