MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – The World Bank’s new framework partnership strategy for Belarus for 2018-2022 was discussed at the meeting of Belarus’ First Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi and World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen, BelTA learned from the website of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.
The parties also discussed the update of the Roadmap for Structural Reforms in Belarus and the adopted legal acts aimed at promoting business initiative and reducing barriers in involving people in the economic activity.
Dmitry Krutoi thanked the World Bank for financial support and the focus of the joint projects on addressing the most important economic development tasks and improving the quality of life for Belarusian people.
