MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – According to the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, in 2022 the share of women entrepreneurs rose by 13.75% over 2021 to reach 36.4%, BelTA informs citing the website of the Economy Ministry.
The average business woman lives in an urban community, is 25 to 49 years old, has a higher or vocational education, raises one child.
To expand support for women’s entrepreneurship, to identify and overcome barriers to women’s entrepreneurship, the Economy Ministry, the Belarusian Union of Women and Belinvestbank signed an agreement on cooperation and interaction. The 2023 action plan to implement the document is posted on the website of the Economy Ministry.
