MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) – Belarus has signed an agreement with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on setting up WIPO Technology and Innovation Support Centers in the country, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry, the document was signed during the meeting of Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Yuri Ambrazevich and Director General of the National Intellectual Property Center Piotr Brovkin with WIPO Director General Francis Gurry.
During the talks the WIPO Director General hailed the Belarus-WIPO cooperation and accepted the invitation to visit Minsk in 2018.
