MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) - Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Francis Gurry praised Belarus’ activity in the organization as he met with Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Yury Ambrazevich on 23 November, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The WIPO Director General commended Belarus’ activity in the organization as well as the country’s coordinating function in the Regional Group of Central Asian, Caucasian and Eastern European Countries, the press service said.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and WIPO, the agenda of the Organization and the results of the 55th Series of the WIPO Assemblies.
