MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Visitors to the Healthcare of Belarus 2021 exhibition will be able to get a Sputnik V vaccine, BelTA informs citing the official Telegram channel of the Healthcare Ministry.
The Healthcare of Belarus exhibition will kick off on 18 May. The final preparations for the opening are underway at 20/2 Pobeditelei Avenue. This annual event is arranged by the Healthcare Ministry in collaboration with the exhibition company Technics and Communications (T&C) and includes a large-scale exposition and an extensive business program.
“A special medical module of the exhibition will be allocated for COVID-19 vaccination using the Sputnik V vaccine. This vaccine produced by Generium (Russia) / Belmedpreparaty (Belarus) (trade name - Gam-COVID-Vac ) is a combined vector vaccine,” the Telegram channel reads.
The whole process will take less than an hour. It includes preliminary examination by a doctor, preparation of the vaccine (defrosting), administration of the vaccine and observation of the vaccinated for 30 minutes after vaccination.
