MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – The first Belarusian-French interregional business forum will take place in Minsk on 30 November – 1 December, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a briefing for the press.
The event will mark the 40th anniversary of establishing twin-city relations between Minsk and Lyon. The business forum has been organized as part of the agreements reached during the second meeting of the joint Belarusian-French commission on economic cooperation in Paris on 26 May.
It is expected that partaking in the forum will be about 50 French businessmen interested in the development of cooperation with Belarus in industry, agriculture, energy, tourism and other sectors.
The program of the forum will also include a number of cultural, education and gastronomic events.
