MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – The authorities are looking into what reserves can be used to sell more Belarusian goods. This is why the central bank has requested information about cooperation with Belarusian manufacturers from commercial banks, representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB) told BelTA.
The letter sent by the NBRB to commercial banks reads that at present the government pays close attention to efforts to sell more Belarusian goods on the home market and is looking into untapped growth reserves.
The central bank would like to know what partnership programs the commercial banks are implementing with Belarusian producers of goods and services, about the available credit products for buying Belarusian goods, and about possible options and prospects of such cooperation.
