Ukraine seeks to bolster ties with Belarus in mechanical engineering, energy, agriculture
MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Ukraine is interested in strengthening the cooperation with Belarus in mechanical engineering, energy and agriculture, BelTA learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
This mater was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko and Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and utilities Gennady Zubko on 24 March. The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, ways of bolstering trade and economic relations, increasing the supply of Belarusian products to the Ukrainian market.
An agreement was reached to hold the talks government level to discuss the issues on the bilateral agenda, and arrange the meetings of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
