UAE businessmen praise quality of Belarusian products
MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – The high quality of Belarusian products has been known in the United Arab Emirates for many years, BelTA learned from Secretary General of the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry Humaid Mohammed bin Salim before the second session of the Belarus-UAE Business Council in Minsk on 15 December.
Humaid Mohammed bin Salim noted: “Belarusian products have been known for their high quality in the United Arab Emirates for many years. Our market is open to Belarusian products. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates can become the door to other markets. We are ready to help promote Belarusian products.”
The official said that representatives of companies that work in various fields, including agriculture and the production sector, had come to Minsk to participate in the session of the Belarus-UAE Business Council. In his words, there are plans to discuss trade cooperation as well as the establishment of joint ventures both in Belarus and the United Arab Emirates.
“There are many ways we can work together to raise the trade turnover between the two countries. The potential is large. Many companies in Belarus and the UAE are interested in cooperation and the establishment of joint manufacturing enterprises. We can expect a considerable increase in trade turnover in several years,” summed up Humaid Mohammed bin Salim.
