MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Over the past four years the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone registered more than 40 resident companies. In the coming years the number of resident companies is expected to increase more than twofold at the minimum, BelTA learned from the Belarus 1 TV channel.
Head of the park’s administration Alexander Yaroshenko noted: “The most important thing for resident companies is to get on the growth track. Some of them are designing their facilities to be built in the park, others are already manufacturing goods. Several companies have already tested market launch of products. There are three such companies. One of them is Chengdu Xinzhu Silk Road Development that commissioned a factory to produce supercapacitors in the Great Stone park.
When all the facilities under construction will be up and running, more than 4,000 highly efficient jobs will be created.
By 2021 the park will complete the first stage of the land development project, with an area of 850 hectares. By this time all infrastructure facilities will be in operation. A residential neighborhood with the necessary infrastructure is being built for the park’s employees. The first house for 156 families will be commissioned this summer.
All in all, over $1 billion in investment was raised for the park since its construction was launched.
