MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – Twenty innovative enterprises were established in 2017 as part of the government program on innovative development in 2016-2020, BelTA learned from Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus Alexander Shumilin.
According to the source, as part of the innovative development program about 2,000 high-performance jobs and 20 innovative enterprises were created in 2017 alone. For instance, a high-tech cluster in the area of complicated medical equipment, security systems, non-destructive testing equipment, and analytical instrumentation has been set up. “One should not forget such an important event as the launch of car manufacturing by BelGee Company,” said Alexander Shumilin.
Apart from that, the production of composite materials based on Belarusian thermoplastic for 3D printing purposes began. The production of medications and drugs containing beta-lactam antibiotics by Pharmtechnology Company began.
