MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – A delegation of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) is visiting Belarus from 10 through 14 August to prepare an information booklet about the benefits and challenges of doing business in Belarus with tips for investors, BelTA learned from the National Investment and Privatization Agency.
“The visit of the Turkish experts and the publishing of high-quality products about Belarus’ investment potential are expected to raise the interest of big Turkish companies in Belarus and to encourage them to participate in the Belarus-Turkey investment forum to be held in Istanbul on 12-13 November 2015,” specialists explained.
Members of the delegation will meet with heads of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Economy Ministry, the National Investment and Privatization Agency, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Development Bank, and businessmen.
The DEIK delegation will visit the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone, the Hi-Tech Park, the Politekhnik research and technology park of the Belarusian National Technical University, Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark), and other companies. The Turkish experts also have plans to visit the free economic zones Grodnoinvest and Mogilev.
The visit of the delegation to Belarus has been organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Turkey and the National Investment and Privatization Agency.
The delegation comprises the deputy coordinator of the Eurasian Business Council at DEIK, the managing partner of the Turkish law firm Ketenci, a representative of the Istanbul Stock Exchange in Belarus, Russia, and Azerbaijan, and journalists of a Turkish economic magazine.
