MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – A trading house may be built in the Russian city of Pskov to sell Belarusian goods, BelTA learned from Pskov Mayor Ivan Tsetsersky.
“We suggest building a trading house in Pskov for the sake of selling Belarusian goods. The outlet will guarantee the true quality of merchandise. The pricing policy will be controlled. The prices will not be set spontaneously,” noted the Pskov Mayor. It will be easier to deal with matters concerning the observance of sanitary and epidemiological requirements, which agricultural products — one of Belarus’ staple exports — are supposed to meet.
Ivan Tsetsersky underlined that relations between Belarus and Pskov Oblast have a long history. “We have experience of interaction in various spheres such as culture, sport, and education. Today we are building another serious vector of our relations — the economic one. Certainly, there are some issues because the business community has its own interest. But we are trying to find ways to work together,” he said.
