Tourism in Belarus forum enjoys success in China’s Nanjing

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian–Chinese forum Tourism in Belarus held in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, has been a success, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Consulate General in Shanghai.
The event was designed to promote Belarus as an interesting travel destination and to introduce the Chinese public to Belarus’ tourist attractions. The forum was arranged by the Consulate General in cooperation with Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd.
On the sidelines of the forum, one of Jiangsu-based companies and Belarusian tour operator TsentrKurort signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
Addressing heads of major travel agencies of Jiangsu Province were Belarus’ Consul General in Shanghai Valery Matsel, President of Jiangsu Overseas Group Co., Ltd Huang Hongliang, consul of the Consulate General Dmitry Kozlovsky, heads of tourism authorities of the province and the Chinese office of Belarus’ leading tour operator TsentrKurort.
In an interview with the JSTV channel and a local economic journal Valery Matsel talked about cooperation prospects between Belarus and Jiangsu Province and the forthcoming visit of Governor of Jiangsu Province Wu Zhenglong to Belarus.
