MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Ten residents of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone plan to complete the construction of their companies in 2018, Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration Nikolai Snopkov said in an interview to the STV TV channel, BelTA informs.
“According to our information, all the residents of the park are mulling over construction projects. I think that this year at least ten residents will implement their construction projects and 25 more will launch their projects,” Nikolai Snopkov said.
Nikolai Snopkov noted that Belarus is concerned about the situation when while existing on paper the resident does not start the construction. “Therefore, we determined a clear algorithm of actions at the meeting of the Council of Shareholders in March. There is a certain time schedule when they should start their construction and launch the production. If this is done, they will remain residents. If not, they will not occupy the land, because the demand is high at the moment,” he added.
The industrial park is one of the elements of comprehensive strategic cooperation with China, which will be handed over to the next generations. “We can say that now it is the start of its rapid development. A total of 354 hectares. The president gave a clear instruction that the park should become a place for enterprises that will shape the economy of the future,” said Nikolai Snopkov.
