MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – The so-called tax maneuver will be the key topic of the forthcoming meeting of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The Belarusian head of state made the relevant statement as he met with representatives of the Russian mass media community on 14 December, BelTA has learned.
The meeting is supposed to take place before the end of the year. Alexander Lukashenko mentioned the tax maneuver as the key item on the agenda. “The most important issue we have to deal with is an economic one – the tax maneuver,” he said.
The head of state stressed that he was not going to resort to some trickery for the sake of personal gains and will not play games. “It is necessary to develop the project of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in a proper manner and only in the interests of Belarusians and Russians,” he added.
