GOMEL, 12 July (BelTA) – Agreements worth RUB4.6 billion were concluded between BMZ, BMZ Trading House from Moscow and a number of Russian companies on the sidelines of the International Industrial Fair Innoprom in Yekaterinburg, BelTA learned from the company.
For example, Steel Industrial Company from Yekaterinburg and BMZ agreed on joint supplies of metal products to the Far Eastern Federal District. The development of this region is among Russia’s priorities. This is envisaged by the National Development Program for the Far East for the next 13 years. The region operates 29 ports and has an extensive network of major railway routes.
The agreement provides for supplying BMZ steel products worth about RUB3 billion in the second half of 2023.
Steel Industrial Company remains one of the biggest consumers of BMZ reinforcing bars. The company operates 50 branches and 19 metal service centers located in all regions of Russia, seven of them in the Far East and Primorye.
Cooperation agreements were also signed with the companies Drilling Technology, Trade House Ural Metal Depot, and Ural Metal Industrial Center. The documents provide for the supply of seamless pipes in the second half of this year. The amount of transactions is roughly estimated at RUB1.6 billion.
